    Description

    This is a wonderful very vintage, antique 4 piece sections of a hand carved Chinese ivory colored bone fan.with the thicker front part of the fan and 3 fan panels. It’s estate fresh and very old. It has a thicker front cover of the fan is extremely well carved with very intricate details with gorgeous garden temple scenes with nobleman all about . There are finely carved trees, bamboo , lotus flower and even the sun at the top.. The carving has high relief work for such a thin piece. The 3 inside fan panels are also finely carved with the same but different garden themes…I feel like if it was a complete fan it would be extraordinary…and extremely rare…the workmanship that would go into a piece like this would just be over the top. It measures 8 1/4 inches long and 1 inch across the top and it weighs 23.1 grams. Please refer to the pictures and thanks for looking.
